The Face Behind
Kasson Metalworks

Kasson Metalworks is owned and operated by Tim Kasson in his hometown in central New York where he learned the intricacies of woodworking from his father. After graduating from C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville, he joined the US Navy and finished at the top of his class at his technical school and chose CG-54 USS Antietam to be his first duty station. While stationed onboard the Antietam he served three Western Pacific (WestPac) deployments and visited dozens of countries. Upon receiving an Honorable discharge he took a position at Stickley furniture and further refined his woodworking skills. After a number of years at Stickley, his love of golf took him in another direction and he decided to move to Myrtle Beach to study golf complex management and focus on teaching golf and mastering the fitting and building of golf clubs. Then in 2008 after watching countless golf courses in the area being sold and turned into condos he focused on his other passion metalworking and found a Master welder/fabricator to study under. Before finishing of the course, he had completed a very complex project and passed every single welding test the instructor could throw at him. Now he is taking his skills in metal fabrication and combining it with his love of woodworking and art to make some truly unique creations. He belief is that true perfection is achieved when the finished piece reflects the clients desire.

At Kasson Metalworks we make every effort to listen more than we speak and gain a thorough understanding of what the client hopes to accomplish. Only then can we create one-of-a-kind items of unmatched quality and design
